Trip to Church

Last week the school was kindly invited to experience the last week of Jesus’s life (holy week) at St. Clement’s Church. This included: the Last supper, Easter Sunday, Good Friday ect. We learned a lot and thank those involved, it helped us learn what Easter really means.

What did you learn on the trip?

This is the same game as Layyah’s. You can only ask questions with a yes or no answer. I’ll give you hint it’s an animal. The winner gets to write their own blog titled ‘What am I thinking?’

Books, glorious books

This one’s especially for all you book lovers out there. I wonder why this post is in yellow!

Let’s share. Recommend your favourite book to a friend. Don’t forget to tell us briefly what it’s about.

Well done Kristina!

So Kristina won Layyah’s ‘What am I?’ post, well done.

Start thinking of a post you would like to start Kristina and you can post it when we get back to school.

Good guesses everyone!

At school this week, this is what we’ve done:
In literacy we have been levelling our writing, but most of us found it quite hard to understand, so we made a more student friendly sheet. Where as in maths we’ve been drawing and interpreting pie charts. In science we’ve been looking at different forces, e.g upthrust or gravity. Upthrust happens in water, for example if a boat was sitting on the water and there was no upthrust and lots of gravity in action, the boat would simply sink.
Our stars of the week were Alex T and the whole class for our mountain work, I thought they were brilliant!

So what are you doing this half term?

Who would you be?

If you could be any cartoon character who would you be?

I would be Bart Simpson because he is mischevious and does cool stuff!

What am I thinking?

This is just like a game of eye spy but i’m thinking of an animal. The catch is that you can ONLY ask questions with a yes or no answer. The winner gets to write their own blog titled ‘What am I thinking?’

G’day Mate!

How exciting we’ve had a visitor from Australia. Is this a friend or family member of one of the children?

Please leave a comment we would love to hear from anyone inside or outside of the Uk.
